Key Responsibilities

• Current model supplier quality responsible.
• Analyze plant and warranty concerns to identify root cause.
• Notify suppliers about quality concerns.
• Ensure supplier implements effective containment actions, performs root cause analysis and implements corrective and preventive actions using 8D methodology.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and improvement plans focused on key index like PPMs, fast response, process capability, firewall, etc.
• Perform various types of supplier process and system audits.
• Ensure compliance to Nissan global standards and internal standards.
• Validate supplier engineering and process changes.
• Validate supplier fulfillment of ANPQP, ISO:9001 and IATF:16949 standards.

Education

• Industrial, mechatronic, electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering.

Previous Work Experience

• Desirable: 1 or 2 years at supplier quality engineering or quality related areas.
• Desirable: Experience in manufacturing technologies such as stamping, machining, welding, plastic injection or blow molding.

Knowledge

• 8D methodology.
• Understand manufacturing processes.
• Desirable: ANPQP Certification.
• Desirable: ISO:9001 and IATF:16949.
• Desirable: Core tools.
• Desirable: GD&T.

Languages

• Business English fluent – Conversational and written (TOEIC >500).

Computer Skills

• Microsoft office excel and power point.
• Desirable: CAD software.

Availability to Travel

• 15% - 20% (Visa preferred).
