Currently, we are hiring Customer Care Billing Specialist, who will be working with internal and external customers to perform various billing and other AR-related functions to support the Nextiva’s billing operations processes. 

  • Over 90% of the communication in this role will be in English (verbal & written). Please send us your resume in English when applying

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices and create credit memos to customer accounts
  • Assist customers with billing questions and resolve billing issues
  • Issue credits for service/product removals and cancellation
  • Research and respond to customer credit card disputes
  • Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions
  • Answer inbound phone calls and instant messages
  • Support Nextiva’s ticketing system
  • Provide back-up customer support for other positions as needed
  • Create, review and apply incoming payments
  • Process credit applications and set customers up on invoicing
  • Work with internal customers in other departments as needed
  • Research discrepancies and help to settle disputes
  • Order service disconnection (disable) of accounts as necessary
  • Update customer account information to include change of address, payment information or contact information
  • Send customer copies of invoices upon request
  • Participate in Billing System configuration as needed
  • Perform other billing tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service roles and call center environment
  • Advanced English (both written and oral)
  • Exceptional Excel Skills and general computer literacy
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping background
  • Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and willingness to align with the working hours of a team based in the United States, specifically in the state of Arizona, as needed

Will be a great plus:

  • Prior experience in Billing or in a customer-facing role
