About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Global Customer Success, the Senior Operations Manager will drive operational change for digital money movement processes at the core of Remitly’s business. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US based on manager approval.

You Will:

  • Administer the performance of a growing operational team supporting core remittance products. 

  • Develop operational roadmaps consistent with key strategic drivers for business growth, including planning, operationalizing, testing, monitoring, and reconfiguring processes and procedures. 

  • Reengineer operational strategies to create efficiencies, reduce costs, and drive revenue and other key metrics of business performance. 

  • Apply statistical and econometric analyses and ad hoc deep dives to understand business drivers and customer behavior to improve Net Promoter Score (NPS). 

  • Identify opportunities for building optimization and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.

You Have:

  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience with program and vendor management involving the development of money movement operational frameworks, including analyzing business requirements and creating program roadmaps and processes for technical infrastructure that improves operational efficiency and reduces costs. 

  • One year of experience with leading operational teams and partnering with regional and global account managers to deploy global, regional, and local data, resources, and tools to achieve operational success.

  • One year of experience with analyzing business requirements, consumer behavior, and industry trends, and reporting on results to senior leadership.

  • One year of experience with developing and mapping solutions for the resolution of technical errors that occur in the digital money transfer process with third-party financial institutions. 

  • One year of experience with creating dispute management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • One year of experience with oversee card manufacturing operations, including vendor partnerships

  • One year of experience with data visualization tools, including Metabase, Sisense, SQL solutions (Periscope), and Tableau.

  • One year of experience with Amazon Connect, Braze, Galileo Technology, Github, Retool, and Salesforce.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $187,096.00 to $220,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
