We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our Microsoft Fabric and Power BI architecture. This role will ensure best practices in data modeling, ingestion, and overall data strategy while supporting enterprise-wide adoption of Power BI and Fabric. You will collaborate with IT, business users, and leadership to drive successful implementations, migrations, and performance optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize & Document Fabric Solutions – Design and implement best practices for data modeling, ingestion, and governance within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Power BI & Fabric Expertise – Guide the organization in leveraging Power BI, Fabric Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Fabric Dataflows, Notebooks, and more for scalable reporting and analytics.
  • Tool Selection & Decision Frameworks – Ability to develop decision trees & patterns to determine the right toolset for various use cases.
  • Migration Strategy – Document patterns and best practices for data migrations, ensuring efficient ingestion and data modeling.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that Fabric adoption aligns with the organization’s goals and self-service analytics strategy.
  • Performance Optimization – Provide expertise on the various tools within Microsoft Fabric
  • Data Catalog & Reporting Governance – Assist in establishing data cataloging and reporting governance to ensure data quality and discoverability.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or software development.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric or Azure (Data Engineering & Analytics stack) and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture, performance tuning, technical documentation.
  • Experience in large-scale data transformations and migrations, preferably with SAP HANA and Azure.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance & Cataloging tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across IT and business teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business processes and concepts into technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with team members and business users.

Additional:

  • Experience working in a Center of Excellence (CoE) or enterprise-wide analytics enablement role is a plus.
  • Experience training users on data and analytics methodology

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
