Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET CICD Developer to drive continuous integration and deployment initiatives across enterprise applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize CICD pipelines, promote best practices for automation, and support scalable, secure, and reliable software releases. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure smooth release cycles, improve deployment efficiency, and enhance system stability. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions aligned with organizational and industry standards.
Software Requirements
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with C# development using .NET Framework and .NET Core (v3.1 or higher)
Proven expertise in RESTful API development and integration
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, or Octopus Deploy for build and deployment automation
Strong knowledge of source control management using Git
Experience with unit testing, TDD, and BDD using frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow, or similar
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or equivalents
Experience working with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or similar and managing database integrations
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and DevOps principles
Preferred Skills:
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud deployment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
Familiarity with secure coding practices, code quality standards, and automated security testing
Overall Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software deployment and updates
Develop and enhance automation scripts and tools for build, test, and deployment processes
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize release cycles and improve deployment stability
Implement and enforce security and compliance best practices within CICD pipelines
Conduct root cause analysis of deployment issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead system and process automation efforts aimed at reducing manual intervention and error rates
Support and troubleshoot build and deployment failures, ensuring minimal downtime
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing support and knowledge sharing
Mentor team members on CICD techniques, DevOps practices, and automation strategies

Languages & Frameworks:
Required: C# (.NET Framework and .NET Core 3.1+), REST API, automation scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Preferred: Proficiency with microservices architecture, Service Fabric, or containerized deployment frameworks

Experience mentoring teams in automation and DevOps best practices
Prior exposure to secure deployment processes and regulatory compliance is a plus
Day-to-Day Activities
Architect, develop, and optimize CICD pipelines supporting multiple application domains
Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to accelerate release cycles
Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to coordinate releases and deployments
Lead automation initiatives to improve deployment quality, speed, and security
Conduct root cause analysis of deployment and post-deployment issues, driving corrective actions
Document pipeline configurations, deployment procedures, and security controls
Review code and build scripts to enforce best practices and quality standards
Provide technical guidance on tools, processes, and infrastructure automation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS DevOps, or similar are advantageous
Extensive practical experience in CICD implementation for enterprise systems, with a focus on .NET environments
