Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall project goals. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the software components, while also addressing any challenges that may arise during the configuration process. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the software systems in place. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for batch monitoring, incident management, and operational support of AWS batch jobs and applications to ensure high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor AWS resources and application health using CloudWatch, Dynatrace. • Handle incidents, alerts, and service requests as per SLA using ServiceNow. • Perform basic troubleshooting for Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS and Postgres database issues. • Support patching, deployment coordination, and routine maintenance tasks. • Escalate complex issues to L3/Engineering with proper analysis. • Maintain operational logs, reports, and shift handover documentation. Must Have Skills: • Basic understanding of AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch). • Hands-on experience in monitoring and incident management. • Familiarity with Linux/Windows administration. • Scripting knowledge (Shell or Python) for basic automation. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Willingness to work in 24x7 support or rotational shifts. Good to Have Skills: • Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or ITSM tools and Python knowledge • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps tools (AWS CDK pipelines). • Exposure to security best practices and compliance monitoring. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - 5 days Work from office is compulsory.
