Company Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we're guided by a shared purpose - helping people be their best in the moments that matter - and we live up to our purpose every day by solving for safer. Because people can only be their best when they not only feel safe, but are safe. We're solving for safer by building the best possible technologies across every part of our safety and security ecosystem. That's mission-critical communications devices and networks, AI-powered video security & access control and the ability to unite voice, video and data in a single command center view. We're solving for safer by connecting public safety agencies and enterprises, enabling the collaboration that's critical to connect those in need with those who can help. The work we do here matters.

Department Overview

Factories and hotels. Schools and stadiums. Restaurants and retail shops. Truck fleets and railroads. Hospitals and public safety. They all have one thing in common: communication is critical. That’s why we are here. We are the Critical Communication Networks group, and every day we design, build, deploy and integrate communications systems for customers who depend on having the right information, at the right time.

We look for the most advanced problem solvers - like you - to help us create technologies that rise to the challenges of our customers. To connect firemen to policemen to emergency responders to nurses to specialists to lives saved. To protect communities, grow businesses and make work safer and more efficient.

Bring your talent to the Critical Communication Networks team as we create and improve applications to enhance device usage and integration with the larger portfolio of Motorola products. The software developer will be a member of a team working on applications for customers utilizing voice and data. The position is available with our team in Schaumburg or Chicago.
