What you will do:
Engage in technical design and discussions and help drive technical architecture
Ensure the happiness and productivity of the team’s software engineers
Help mitigate risk (technical, product, personnel)
Provide guidance and influence in other areas of the Engineering (e.g. DevOps and Test Engineering)
Communicate the vision of our product to external entities
Participate in relevant Engineering and Technical Operations workgroups and on-call rotations to assure service availability
Foster, enable and promote innovation
Define team metrics and meet productivity goals of the organization
Mentor software engineers through their career growth
You’re experienced leading teams and implementing technology globally
Comfortable influencing others, leading team, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly
You’re stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale
Having good people management skills and a client service mentality is a must. Essentially, this is a mix between being a technical manager and a relationship manager.
You will help give architecture guidance as well.
Having several years of management experience of a tech team is helpful, but any management experience will do, as well as a solid knowledge base of process.
Be able to build relationships with other areas of the business (Product, UX, Ops) and partner with them to build technical solutions for our Associates and Members.
Ensure Software Quality Engineering by keeping the engineers up to date on best practices, automated code testing, alerts, reporting, and taking a proactive approach to production running app support.
Work closely with the Program and Product Manager to ensure engineering work is pointed and prioritized correctly.
What you will bring:
Hands on leader with proficient in Software Application Development and lifecycle.
Manage software development engineers and lead engineering projects

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
