Job Description

The Security Product & Technology Software group is seeking a motivated, Embedded Software Engineer, Security to provide support to our Security group located at ADI’s Bilisim Vadisi Vadi Istanbul office. This position offers to work as part of an international team that is the technology pioneer in the authenticator and security market. In addition, working with technology experts and providing mentoring opportunities will accelerate your career.

What Will You Do In This Position:

Reporting to the Security Group’s Software Manager you will be part of the Security Technologies and Products business unit’s Software team. As Embedded Software Engineer, Security you will work on supporting and designing next-generation secure products for customers using Analog Devices’ Protect and Connect product portfolio.

Key responsibilities of a Engineer SW Systems Design Engineer, include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and contribute to ADI’s security solutions and cryptography library, and identify and recommend improvements
  • Assume responsibility for technical planning, architecture and development of code that is compliant with new crypto/hash standards that meet or exceed secure payment industry requirements
  • Assume responsibility for technical planning, scoping, architecture and development of crypto libraries and security software stack solutions that will satisfy the expectations of ADI’s customer base
  • Work in coordination with development and quality assurance engineers to ensure that certain certification criteria is satisfied
  • Be responsible for designing and coding embedded system software, developing tests & testing tools for embedded systems.
  • Ensure proper software development, testing, debugging, integration, and documentation.
  • Be able to independently operate in a global, diverse software development community across many geographical locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English & Turkish.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate high levels of motivation, individual responsibility, and accountability and be able to perform the essential functions listed below.
  • Autonomously develop the projects assigned,
  • Work with the field personnel and development team to troubleshoot, fix, and manage releases for customer issues.
  • Be able to independently operate in a global, diverse software development community across many geographical locations,
  • Support the business managers in their product promotion efforts
  • Inform and educate the field about digital security
  • Analyze customer requirements and propose ad hoc solutions
  • Collect and analyze customer requirements and further feed the team to build the technology and product roadmap
  • Perform other duties as may be determined by management.

Job Requirements:

  • BS or MSc in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of industry experience.

Skills / Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Strong Computer Science background
  • Demonstration of strong problem-solving skills with analytical thinking
  • Ability and willingness to follow recent developments in cryptography
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Hands on experience with lab equipment for debug, analysis and characterization
  • Hands on experience with C\C++ and Python language
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across all levels, both in English and Turkish
  • Available for international travels in EMEA

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience in functional implementation of Public Key - Private Key crypto systems
  • Broad knowledge on attacks to crypto systems
  • Hands on experience in embedded software development
  • Working knowledge of embedded development with ARM Cortex-M and RISC-V architectures
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art security algorithms and secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with digital communication interfaces
  • Good understanding of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
