Department Overview

The Motorola Solutions' Device Management team specializes in the fulfillment of world class software applications for managing fleets of end user two-way communications devices for public safety, commercial and consumer markets.


Job Description

The co-op student will be responsible for developing and testing enterprise level, Windows based applications.These are applications written in C#/.NET4.6 on both the client & server side with WPF, WCF frameworks, with the addition of Java and SQL DB operations, and a roadmap directing it towards cloud & WEB services.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Teamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environment.

  • Finding, tracking, and repairing device software defects.

  • Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.

  • Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems.

  • Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation


Basic Requirements

  • Candidate's Graduation date must occur on or after December 2025. 

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in one of the following degree programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
