Description -
We are looking for a Retail Account Manager (f/m/d) to support our German Retail department!
In the area of Retail Computing we offer an outstanding portfolio of personal computers, efficient workstations, digital entertainment solutions, storage devices and internet services to our business- and private customers. Beyond that, we are leading in digitalizing the printing area. Numerous products support our customers at home, in the office or regarding the professional graphic design.
This role is responsible for maintaining partner account plans for sales growth, sharing complex information regarding the organization’s offerings, and fostering strong partner relationships. The role handles intricate contract negotiations, tailors solutions to customer needs, and converts leads into joint sales activities while managing the sales funnel. The role recruits new partners, and conducts training sessions to ensure effective representation of the organization.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Consumer/retail market in Germany with focus on fastest growing online/retail segment.
Accountable for business growth, top and bottom line sales target achievement and HP share of business gains.
Responsible for the Consumer & Commercial and Computing/Personal Systems business selling in etail including accessories & services.
Analysis, definition and execution of online sales strategy.
Account management and business development end-to-end for assigned direct and indirect key accounts.
Best -in-class weekly sell-in/sell-out/ inventory management.
Builds long-term growth opportunities using Joint Business Planning for existing and new accounts.
Establish professional working relationship up to the C-level and develop long term business partnerships to become a strong trusted advisor.
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of the retail and etail segment.
Understands the retail and etail market and the strategies of our top competitors in the entire marketing mix to further develop & influence HP's retail strategy.
Implements HP Consumer strategies and develop new tactics to increase business at account level.
Optimizes investments/partner compensation to ensure the best balance between strategic development and promotional tactics.
Enhance portfolio selling approach and cost-effective methods of promoting the HP product portfolio.
Plans, executes and analyses promotional online activities in joint collaboration with the marketing and trade marketing manager.
Analyzes and optimizes HP's content and overall online visibility.
Good understanding of the online behavior of end customers and what’s needed to sell online successful.
Presents HP Products and solutions to buyers and category directors with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Further enhances HP's online expertise strongly aligned with the online marketing experts, maximizes HP presence in all online marketing tools like e.g. product of the week campaigns, banners, newsletter, landing pages and brand stores.
Understands supply chain activities and actively participates in managing product supply and rollovers at account level.
Interfaces with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs.
What are we expecting?
University degree or equivalent sales experience in retail and etail/online channels
Typically 3 years of experience in sales or etail
Strong negotiation skills with senior purchaser level
Account management experience for indirect and/or direct accounts, preferably in the fast moving consumer goods industry
Deep understanding of the consumer business and retail/online market knowledge
Strategic Sales Planning & Implementation
Strong understanding of data and analytic skill’s
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Budget Management & Cost Optimization
Ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all levels
Establish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth
Industry, HP and retail partner knowledge
Experience in above quota selling and identification of new sales opportunities
Leadership qualities, credibility
Business fluent in German and English
