Position Summary:

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the service engineers in machine problem and installation.  Ensure all technical support to the field.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Provide support to field service engineer for breakdown calls, machine problem, feature-option working procedure, software downloading, processing problem, troubleshooting, installation etc.
  • Coordination with design for special feature requirement, software modification, feature modification, mechanical-hydraulic modification through ERN (Engineering Request Note)
  • Provide field support for machine installation for Injection molding
  • Provide Shop floor support for run off  of machines at time of heavy work load in production
  • Support mold trial of Injection molding machine to support Sales Team
  • Provide on-site support for installation or trouble shooting as & when required.
  • Field Support & Co-ordination for Tools & Manpower from shopfloor for special job
  • FSL support & training to engineers , Field Issue Monitoring, Co-ordination & Resolution through support from Design, Assembly & Quality.
  • History Folder & Machine Data Maintenance.
  • Preparation of Management reports related Customer Support, MIS data.
  • Personally handle key customer.
  • Technical & Application Support to Sales, Sales Support & Field Service Team
  • Communication with Vendor for trouble shooting, part failure & support for customer site visit of vender person. ( For all drive, motor, all control, pump, hydro motor etc)
  • Field Feedback to Internal Departments like Design, Assembly & Quality for Reliability Improvement on need base.
  • Monitor & Feedback for Installation & Plug & Play to Run-off Team.
  • Mold trial for customer & sales support
  • Exhibition handling to support sales.
  • New product development validation support to design on need base at field.
  • Technical support / part no. support to spare team to increase Aftermarket business.
  • GEMBA flash generation & related filed feedback for Quality.
  • RCA status, follow up & share to region.
  • Quality/Design related issues Detail preparation & horizontally deployment action in filed. TSB release & closed monitoring till complete.
  • High value part FR follow up on need base to support spares & Quality team.
  • Participate in CFT for to resolve Quality issues.

This role shall be part of the Customer support Department based at Ahmedabad.

Basic Qualifications:

Completed full time Diploma/B. Tech   in Electrical / Electronic with IMM Servicing / Run-off/Maintenance Experience of 4-5 years.
