The PGIM Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in helping the PGIM executive team understand the global business of PGIM.   The team supports the CFO of PGIM and the broader leadership team by providing insight-led financial analysis and forecasting, management reporting, and ad hoc strategic support for the business’ most critical priorities.  The FP&A team works across all levels of PGIM and Prudential to identify and assess the underlying drivers of PGIM’s business performance.  The FP&A Analyst role is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious and talented candidate to work in a collegial and high performing team and build experience working in the asset management industry directly supporting senior business leaders.

What you will do:

As an Analyst, you will be part of a small FP&A team overseen by the Head of FP&A, with dual-reporting lines into finance and strategy. You will be given high levels of responsibility across multiple processes and projects and asked to contribute within a high-performing team from day one. Responsibilities include supporting the development of a long-term forecast to inform strategic planning within PGIM.  In addition, you will be a critical contributor to transforming the existing forecast process with a new technology solution.  These responsibilities will provide you with exposure to PGIM and the asset management industry, and you will develop a broad finance and analytical toolkit. In addition to driving forecasting and analytics, you will be responsible for presenting your findings and recommendations to senior management. You will also have the opportunity to be mentored by PGIM’s senior business leaders and be coached and trained by asset management and strategy experts.

What you can expect:

  • Lead consolidation of short-term and long-term forecasts, in partnership with the PGIM businesses and senior leadership
  • Lead analysis of key financial trends and drivers to enhance data-driven decision making
  • Drive special projects tied to key PGIM strategic initiatives and M&A deals
  • Build and deliver high-quality executive presentations with clear and compelling insights
  • Explore ways of leveraging technology to improve existing processes
  • Partner with various groups across PGIM and Prudential, including finance, strategy, and investor relations

What you will bring:

  • BA Required with strong academic background
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis
  • Knowledge of financial services, ideally asset management
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with MS Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently

*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. If your skills align with the role, we encourage you to apply.
