Job Description  

This position provides technical and operational support within the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences contributing to clinical research activities that align with the expectations of the classification. The individual in this role supports daytoday clinical research operations, including participant coordination, data collection, data entry, regulatory documentation, specimen handling, and maintenance of studyrelated databases. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to clinical research protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance with institutional, regulatory, and humansubjects protection standards. Departmentspecific workflows may include coordinating study visits, assisting with participant recruitment and screening, supporting clinical trial procedures, managing study documentation, or contributing to the organization and tracking of clinical research materials and records. 

 

Minimum Education & Experience Required 

High School graduate required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
