Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airlines' (BCA) Human Resources (HR) organization for 737 Program is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Associate or Experience) to join the HR team in Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.

The position will play a key role in supporting the success of Boeing’s business and the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience.

The role, along with their team of peers, will be the HR Generalists supporting BCA employees in 737 Program and Delivery Operations.  The position will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources organization, HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers.  The team will be responsible for delivering HR products and services engaging with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
  • Work closely with HR COE’s to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs
  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Flexible work arrangements will be considered on an as-needed basis.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 1+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 1+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions and/or programs
  • 1+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Human Resources certification
  • 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role
  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $69,700 - $94,300

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $87,550 - $118,450
