Become a Project Manager on our team and you will be an integral part of expanding Walmart’s US and International Supply Chain network.  As a Project Manager you will be managing IT infrastructure and application projects contributing daily to overall project of building new Distribution and Fulfilment Centers.  You will collaborate with Global Tech, Construction, and Operations teams on projects that ensure all Walmart customers get all the benefits from their omnichannel shopping experience.  No project is too big or too small for us, so you will also be working on projects remodeling Supply Chain buildings with new technology.  You will be able to grow your technology knowledge by working closely with Global Tech teams.  Many of our new Distribution and Fulfilment centers are being designed and opened with new technology and you will have an opportunity to learn about these technologies and contribute to defining their implementation.


About Team:
On the Item and Inventory team, we ensure our customers get their orders when and where they want them, in a frictionless, predictable manner. What's more, we create reusable SaaS products and services that manage our catalog and power end-to-end inventory management, including replenishment, fulfillment, and transportation. With end-to-end inventory management, from replenishment and fulfillment to transportation, we give our drivers and partners the tools they need to get the right items to customers on time and in the right packaging.

What you'll do:

  • Travel to various Locations across the US weekly
  • Work on projects of various scope size supporting stores, clubs and distribution centers implementing Global Tech infrastructure and applications.Manage a project schedule to track milestones.
  • Driving the projects through major milestones following a Global Tech technology design to a successful completion.
  • Developing and executing plans for managing risk.
  • Host regular meetings with project stakeholders to facilitate generation of regular updates..
  • Provide project related support to engaged project teams by developing project resource plans.
  • Manage project timeline impacts by collaborating with affected teams providing mitigation plans and driving their implementation.
  • Perform a root cause analysis after an impacting issue and document for future reference.
  • Developing action plans to address issues following RCA completion.
  • Defining and implementing long-term process changes by applying lessons learned from implemented projects.
  • Build relationships with teams engaged on the projects.
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities and actively share your knowledge with others.

  • Working schedule flexibility is expected due to responsibilities that may require occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Open to travel several weeks in a month to support project implementation.
  • 1 year Supply Chain experience or 1 year project management experience

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
