About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and customer-obsessed Product Proposition (Proposition Marketing), Principal to drive distribution engagement and product capabilities. In this role, you won’t just support products marketing, you’ll own the end-to-end proposition strategy, influence product direction, and directly enable our distribution channels to succeed in the market.

• Turn business priorities into compelling product stories that resonate with advisors and customers.
• Drive successful product launches and accelerate adoption across distribution channels.
• Enhance sales effectiveness through innovative engagement and enablement strategies.
• Shape how our digital platforms support the future of distribution.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Leads end-to-end planning and execution of product launches, including development of sales enablement strategies, high-impact materials, and alignment of cross-functional stakeholders to deliver successful market outcomes.

  • Drives partnership with Product and Distribution teams to shape and enhance product propositions, translating business priorities into targeted engagement initiatives that accelerate adoption and distribution effectiveness.

  • Own delivery of key business priorities, developing tailored and data-informed sales content and equip distribution teams with the tools and insights they need to succeed to uplift performance of high-potential and top-tier advisors.

  • Oversees the development and optimisation of digital sales platforms (e.g., iResource, SharePoint) to improve scalability, strong user adoption, and champion continuous enhancement through structured training, analytics and user feedback.

  • Governs and coordinate distribution-related operations, including vendor management and logistics planning, to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and initiatives.

  • Strong AIA Singapore products knowledge to support distribution inquires as well as having the ability to build and maintain strong relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by Team Lead or HOD to meet other requirements/responsibilities of the department.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications will be an added advantage.

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with demonstrated exposure to product propositions, distribution strategy, or sales enablement.

  • Strong industry knowledge and professional accreditation preferred, such as LOMA qualifications, M5/M9/M9A/HI certifications, or progress in actuarial examinations would be an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholders’ management skills, with strong proficiency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage to support diverse distribution channels.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with ability to develop high-quality presentations and perform data-driven analysis; familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint) is preferred.

  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities independently, demonstrating strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • A natural storyteller who can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
