Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) is responsible for the R&D, operation, and  development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

【About Us】
Common Data Platform (CDP) is one of the departments within IEG, which provides comprehensive data services for Tencent Games, spanning all scenarios throughout their life cycle. Our mission is to build a complete data platform, from constructing data assets to providing data science services, and to explore data-driven intelligent operation models, aiming to create incremental value for games.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining big data suites of overseas cloud platforms, monitoring and resource management, and ensuring the stability of data platforms and services;

• Responsible for the construction of automatic operation and maintenance tools to improve the efficiency of deployment and maintenance

• Responsible for optimizing the architecture of data-related services, designing and implementing public cloud solutions such as fault tolerance and remote disaster recovery to improve product quality;

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer-related fields

• More than 3 years of experience in big data or database system operation and maintenance;

• Hands-on experience in one or more of the big data open-source fields, such as Starrocks-like data warehouses, Redis-like KV, Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Flink/Presto, etc., familiar with the operating principles of components, and able to optimize the architecture based on business scenarios；

• Familiar with mainstream public cloud service technologies(GCP/AWS) and related operations of cloud service product tools；

• Experience with DataBricks, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, and AWS Redshift is preferred；

• Has a passion for learning and functions well in a team；

• Chinese language proficiency is desired as this position requires frequent interaction with stakeholders in the HQ.
