The FIS Sales Learning Team is seeking a Sales Product & Technology Trainer to execute on our global strategy to optimize a “world-class” seller ecosystem for our global sales and revenue team.  This individual must understand the day-to-day challenges of sales, account management, and sales management to develop strategies around tools adoptions and product knowledge, aligned to various seller profiles. 

As a member of the Global Sales Learning team, you will work collaboratively with many cross-functional teams across the company, such as Sales Performance, Tools & Technology, Go-To-Market, and Sales leadership.

The scope of your remit will include two key areas: Working with our sales strategists to plan, develop, and execute training capturing “day-in-the-life” scenarios that help sellers optimize tool use in their specific roles. And secondly, developing sales specific solution training programs to effectively build sellers knowledge and ability to sell new offerings.

To be successful, you will have a proven track record of driving L&D strategy with high inter-department collaboration. You’ll also be driven to take something from good to great with an understanding of and ability to identify key levers that impact seller effectiveness.  The ideal candidate must understand sales, the ability to work with complex global teams, and comfort working with new technology.

How you will make a difference: 

  • Partner with sales technology and strategy, to create seller-centric tools training.

  • Develop seller training for FIS solutions to prepare the sales force to effectively learn new products and messaging.

  • Plan and execute short- and long-term training plans (e.g., in-person, virtual, eLearning, videos, on-the-job support, management reinforcement & mentoring)

  • Track and measure KPIs capturing training impact. These include adoption, utilization, pipeline generation, and more.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, Legal, Finance and business line commercial teams to ensure process alignment

  • Drive increase in sales performance through successful integration of sales practices, technology and disciplines/skills

  • Utilize client insights, industry trends, and sales/sales management feedback to drive optimization and adoption of industry best practices

What we are looking for:

  • Understanding of b-to-b sales processes, KPIs, and best practices

  • Experience with sales execution/engagement platforms, CRMs, sales enablement systems, and other sales technology.

  • An understanding of effective adult learning (e.g. knowing how to make material relevant & memorable as well as how experienced professionals learn on the job, in live trainings, and via self-paced training).

  • Ability to prioritize, scope, plan, and execute to move multiple initiatives forward in a fast-paced, global environment

  • A strong presence while presenting to large and small audiences

  • Ability to quickly gain credibility within all levels of a sales organization (junior reps to senior management)

  • Passion for understanding and optimizing the use of sales technology

  • Strong drive to achieve goals and make an impact on the business

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization

  • Passionate and motivated to help others succeed in achieving their sales goals

  • Resourceful, adaptable and can creatively collaborative

  • Ability to influence effectively without authority

  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and enjoying finding order and simplifying process

  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales and/or sales management

  • 10+ years of experience working with global teams in a corporate, fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $94,560.00 - $158,870.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
