About Team:
The Risk and compliance Team located in Bangalore – IDC, plays a critical role in Walmart’s information security program managing and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant law and regulation and establishing governance structure to guide Risk mitigation. Supporting SOX. We’re in search of strong candidate who can support and lead IT Risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of Walmart.
What you'll do:
Demonstrates up-to-date IT risk management, IT controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) activities
Serves as an IT controls subject matter resource on multiple, medium complex IT risk management projects (for example, User Access Review Programs, SailPoint Integrations, IT general controls design & implementation, SOX IT general control reviews) as part of the overall IT risk management strategy
Provides input into the global GRC governance tools (i.e. SAP GRC & SailPoint) and IT Continuous Controls Monitoring programs and assists teams in development of program plans and timelines. Helps ensure respective business areas understand the overall objectives, timeline and how the programs impact overall IT controls.
Provides business functional support to SAP GRC, SailPoint, and other GRC governance tools. Activities include but are not limited to: triage of issues, basic troubleshooting, tool health checks, etc.)
Executes and monitors progress of User Access Review and IT Continuous Controls Monitoring programs and ensures deliverable quality (e.g., coordinating meetings, tracking progress, following up on action items).
Assists in managing and executing IT SOX & IT Internal Audit remediation efforts locally and globally as directed by GRC leadership
Develops IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) associates
Develops and maintains professional relationships with IT, SOX, and Internal Audit stakeholders
Leads Process or Control Owners through the remediation process of findings/observations
Assists with monitoring, analyzing, and driving remediation for IT SOX and IT IA issues by prioritizing based on risk
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides and supports the implementation of IT GRC initiatives
