The Job At-A-Glance:
We're seeking a Security Engineer (IAM) to join our growing company and Engineering teams to lead the design and overall technical implementation of multiple services areas (Okta)/IAM technologies within a broader services solution. You will be collaborating with Security/Architectures teams to develop IAM/PAM roadmaps and drive the delivery of IAM-Related projects. If you have a strong pull towards attention to detail, process improvement and flat out making people, process and final outcomes better, keep reading. We seek an individual that enjoys working as a team and also has a passion for learning and finding new ways to solve problems.
A Typical Day:
Lead research, discovery, planning, and implementation efforts to improve business processes.
Advise key leadership on the latest standards, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application
Participate in the improvement of high availability and application architecture in coordination with development
Transfer knowledge to implementation and operations staff
Lead projects, working with the workgroup to achieve defined goals within set timelines.
Manage IAM project scope, schedule, status and documentation.
Participate in the improvement of high availability and application architecture
Actively contribute to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of production infrastructure
Establish plans (tools, techniques & practices) to monitor and manage the production IAM environment
Scripting administrative tasks for consistency and mass deployments
Provide senior level expertise support on services and devices
Transfer knowledge to implementation and operations staff
Lead projects, working with the workgroup to achieve defined goals within set timelines
Perform maintenance related activities during scheduled weekend maintenance windows as needed
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
Understanding of Cybersecurity architecture and associated technologies with a focus on Identity and Access Management solutions
Industry-standard cybersecurity certification(s)
Expert knowledge in core IAM Domains: Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, Identity Lifecycle Management
Hands-on experience with all Okta and Certifications
Modifying Okta Workflow customizations, Forms, Rules, Provisioning policies, Custom reports and Certification jobs
Experience in Role based Access Controls (RBAC), Attribute based
Directories (LDAP, AD).
Experience in monitoring , supporting and debugging issues
Good knowledge in integrate, configure, and deploy IAM solutions and systems to facilitate User Life-Cycle Management,
Identity and Access Governance, Automated Provisioning, Single Sign-On, Federation, Privileged Account Management.
Ability to work with vendor product support to open, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
