The key focus for the Assistant Commercial Manager is to drive and manage the Consumers Electronics category within the Australian and New Zealand market, as part of our Consumer Products team. The role also includes administrative responsibilities and tasks to provide support to the overall ANZ Hardlines team.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Ownership of the Consumer Electronics category strategy development, with the ambition to drive growth in line with the Hardlines LOB strategic objectives.

  • Manage a portfolio of licensees across the Consumer Electronics category, including regular partnership review and joint business planning meetings, franchise updates, and retail pitching.

  • Responsibility for contract management, plus tracking the forecasts and royalty postings of managed licensees against budget and prior year, including data entry.

  • Administrative support for the Hardlines team including; Support across quarterly finance processes (SRR), contract administration tasks, external partner communications, monthly industry insights, and data review.

  • Organising and building presentations for internal and external use, collating product inspiration and franchise information.

  • Collaborating with the Retail Marketing team to support licensees and retailers with Disney campaigns

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

  • Strong communication & presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships both internally and externally

  • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously as required

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • High attention to detail

  • Manages projects, processes, and resources to produce desired outcomes in a timely manner
