Senior Analytics Engineer - SQL, Snowflake, Dbt, Tableau 

Location:  Nasuni Hyderabad - Hybrid - 3 Days onsite / 2 Days Remote  

Role Overview

Nasuni is building a modern, AI-ready data platform to power business-critical decision-making. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will transform raw data into trusted, well-structured data models that power reporting, forecasting, and executive insights.

This role sits at the intersection of data, business, and analytics. You will work closely with RevOps, Marketing Ops, and Finance to define and deliver core business metrics such as ARR, sales performance, customer health, and growth trends.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating business questions into scalable data models and analytics solutions. It is not a fit for candidates focused purely on pipeline engineering or infrastructure.

Level & Scope Definition

• Owns development of analytics-ready data models and KPI layers across GTM and business domains 
• Operates with high autonomy in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake development 
• Translates business logic (Salesforce, HubSpot, SaaS metrics) into structured data models 
• Partners cross-functionally with RevOps, Marketing Ops, and BI teams 
• Responsible for data quality, usability, and alignment to business reporting needs 

Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Transformation

• Build and maintain dimensional data models (fact/dimension tables) using dbt and SQL 
• Transform raw data from Snowflake into analytics-ready datasets for BI and reporting 
• Design data structures optimized for Tableau and other BI tools

Business Metrics & Insights

• Define and deliver core KPIs (ARR, pipeline, customer health, growth, cash flow indicators) 
• Translate Salesforce and GTM system data into actionable reporting layers 
• Enable executive-level reporting and forecasting through structured datasets 

BI & Analytics Enablement

• Partner with BI teams to ensure models support dashboards and insights generation 
• Ensure data is structured for consistent, scalable reporting across tools 
• Support development of dashboards and KPI frameworks 

Data Quality & Operations

• Implement testing, validation, and monitoring within dbt workflows 
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across business-critical datasets 
• Troubleshoot issues across data models and reporting layers 

AI & Workflow Enablement

• Use AI tools to accelerate SQL/dbt development, testing, and documentation 
• Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness and scalability 
• Contribute to AI-ready datasets for analytics and future automation 

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4–6 years in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or data-focused roles 
• Strong SQL skills with ability to build tables, transformations, and dimensional models 
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake (or similar cloud warehouse) 
• Proven experience building data models that feed BI tools and reporting 
• Experience translating business requirements into data structures and KPIs 
• Experience working with BI tools (Tableau or equivalent) to deliver insights 
• Ability to validate and improve AI-assisted SQL or modeling outputs 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SaaS business data (ARR, pipeline, subscription metrics) 
• Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar GTM systems 
• Experience supporting RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Finance analytics 
• Exposure to tools like Fivetran or modern data stack pipelines 

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience building executive-level reporting systems from raw data sources 
• Strong understanding of SaaS growth metrics and forecasting 
• Experience designing semantic or metrics layers for consistent KPI definitions 
• Track record of improving data quality and analytics adoption 

Experience Guidelines

• 4–6 years total experience in data/analytics roles 
• 2–4+ years in analytics engineering or BI-focused data modeling
• Experience working in SaaS or high-growth environments preferred
