Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales Specialist / Sales Support to support the development of our automation business in Europe, including regional market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to build a career in technical sales/bid and proposal preparation in industry.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced sales specialists and cross-functional teams (engineering and project management) to support customer engagement, develop proposals, and contribute to delivering tailored solutions in automation, electrification, and digitalization.

You will gain valuable experience in understanding customer processes, developing solutions, and managing the full sales lifecycle.


The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Industries business located in Zagreb.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Assist in developing tailor-made technical solutions aligned with customer needs

  • Support preparation of technical and commercial offers and documentation

  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams across multiple countries

  • Support identification of business opportunities within the installed base

  • Support execution of sales strategy across the Metals Europe cluster

  • Provide support in collection and project follow-up activities when required

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners

  • Participate in customer meetings and help gather technical and commercial requirements

  • Support the promotion and sale of products, systems, and services

  • Contribute to ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process

  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and value proposition

  • Perform administrative tasks related to sales processes (CRM updates, documentation, reporting)

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree (or final year) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or similar

  • 0–3 years of experience (internships or first experience in engineering/technical sales a plus)

  • Understanding of industrial control and electrification systems (automation, drives, electrification) is an advantage

  • Interest in developing a career in technical sales within process industries and power generation

  • Willingness to learn and grow in an international environment and good written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

  • You are at ease communicating in English (B2) and Croatian (B2)

  • Strong learning agility and willingness to develop technical and commercial knowledge with customer-oriented mindset

  • Sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks with high level of personal integrity and professional behavior

  • Collaborative and solution-focused approach

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and internal collaboration
