Position Summary...

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do...

This role will be in Walmart People Partner Excellence Team in IDC

Support the rollout of organizational programs and implement key people processes. Assist People partners, Managers & Leaders in designing and deployment of team specific programs

The People Partner Excellence Team will support the successful design and deployment of all People programs across the enterprise. This team will focus on bringing in a platform mindset and approach to all our programs across GT and CF.

What you'll do:

Create Seamless Experiences

  • Liaise with people partners to work on org. people programs and processes
  • Standardize and transform people practices that will run effectively at scale
  • Understand people partner and business priorities to design relevant processes
  • Create aids and enablement mechanisms for people partners to ensure robust on ground implementations for people programs
  • Drive associate engagement initiatives through effective program design
  • Handle end to end people program execution in partnership with COEs and people partners
  • Assist Lead People Partner with planning and implementation of People programs and initiatives within the pillar and across IDC

Linkages with other HR Teams

  • Provide inputs to COEs on the policy and process gaps and improvements needed channelizing feedback from associates/managers/people partners
  • Ensure transactions related to data and systems (rewards, leaves etc.) are executed in alignment with standard organization practices

Position Requirements:

  • Provide support to senior people partners and managers on people programs
  • Understand business goals and priorities and support managers and people partners in driving people agenda
  • Analyze various data and people metrics and identifies trends
  • Execute cyclical People Processes e.g. goal setting, annual and mid-year performance cycles, promotions, compensation management, etc. with timeline adherence. 
  • Facilitates or assists multiple team or group level talent discussions
  • Assist People Partners with planning and roll-out of People programs and initiatives within the pillar and across IDC
  • Manage projects

What you'll bring:

  • Experience: 5-10  years in experience in Human Resources domain and relevant experience in HR Business partnering
