Citi Investment Management is a group within Citi Wealth that manages assets on a discretionary and advisory basis for high and ultra-high net worth clients globally. CIM manages a broad suite of investment strategies within single and multi-asset class products. CIM is currently seeking a Portfolio Associate to join our team of investment professionals and contribute to the investment management and portfolio construction capabilities of CIM’s strategies.

The Business Manager role will support the regional aspects of supporting technology and business management activities of the CIM and Investment management aspects for Citi Global Wealth (CGW).

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the CIM business management team’s tactical and strategic goals related to the operating platform within the region
• Report, document, and present matters to relevant global governance forums
• Oversee daily operational workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Lead initiatives to streamline operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity.
• Manage and resolve operational issues, escalating as necessary, and implementing preventative measures.
• Define purpose, tasks, milestones, and budgets, and measure success against them
• Coordinate and perform deployment, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of production and non-production environments of the operating platforms
• Establish and oversee auditable and scalable processes that are globally consistent within the organization in partnership with the portfolio management organization
• Analyse data processing problems to implement and improve resiliency of the application supported
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a robust service and control environment through data analysis and process enhancement
• A sound understanding of the project life cycle and experience delivering technology solutions
• Lead the post-implementation review process to evaluate project results
• Maintain and support continuous MIS for a strong control environment

Qualifications

• 7-10 years experience within Finance industry in similar role
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of investment management systems (e.g., order management systems, portfolio accounting systems) is a plus.
• Ability to interface directly with business users and stakeholders
• Understanding of system interdependencies
• Ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
• Experience in defining business requirements in support of the business and technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
