The Manager, Enterprise Programs will be instrumental in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key enterprise initiatives within GSK. This role is designed for a strategic thinker with a strong background in managing complex projects using agile methodologies, who can seamlessly integrate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The incumbent will ensure that all projects are aligned with GSK's strategic objectives, deliver value, and adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
 

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and resilience. This role demands excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
 

By leveraging agile methodologies, the Manager, Enterprise Programs will focus on delivering maximum value, enhancing GSK’s operational excellence and resilience.

Currently, one of the major programs involves integrating biometric authentication within our key enterprise applications to enhance the end user experience for all manufacturing shopfloor workers and lab technicians. This initiative includes the deployment of the Nymi technology across all GSK sites, with the ambitious goal of replacing 80% of password entries required during login or for eSignatures. This program aims to streamline operations, improve security, and increase efficiency across our manufacturing and laboratory environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Define and measure value realization by setting clear objectives, key results, and metrics to track progress and outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support program initiatives
  • Monitor program progress against key results and metrics
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Oversee program budgets, ensuring financial discipline and alignment with financial goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation
  • Develop and execute a detailed handover plan to transition the program to the BAU team


​Basic Qualifications:

Leadership and stakeholder management

  • Proven leadership capabilities to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent skills in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to convey program goals, progress, and issues effectively.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
     

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies and systems used within the organization.
  • Ability to use data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create informative and actionable reports.
     

Adaptability to New Technologies:

  • A strong interest in new technologies and emerging trends.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt innovative solutions.
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo and drive creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
