An exciting opportunity has risen within Linde Material Handling Ireland for you to join our rapidly growing Aftersales Division. We are currently looking for Planned Maintenance Engineers to join our team in the Leinster and Munster area. (Nationwide)

We are looking for motivated, driven and organised vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.

• Carry out routine services and inspections on both internal and external stakeholder’s fleet to ensure fleet is maintained in
optimum condition from both an operational and safety perspective.
• To undertake this role in compliance with both company and customer SHE policies and procedures
• SHE Compliance, safety audits, site risk assessments and associated training (e-learning completion)
• In line with the Customer Service Charter, communicate with external and internal customers in a professional and
competent manner consistent with maximizing customer satisfaction, encouraging repeat business, revenue and profit
growth for the business.
• Provide Backoffice with detailed and accurate information for quotation generating purpose.
(All follow on work to be completed by others)
• Ensure time sheet data is accurate and up to date to allow smooth processing of all jobs.
• Ensure ERP system is maintained and updated daily, and jobs closed out once completed.
• Maintain adequate vehicle stock levels and PPE to ensure maximum productivity.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in accordance with company guidelines.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Qualified maintenance engineer (NVQ level 3/ equivalent) in relevant discipline or industry experience.
• Excellent customer service skills
• A high level of communication with ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email.
• Impeccable attention to detail
• IT Skills (Microsoft Office suite)
• Ability to maintain and achieve monthly targets and goals
