Job Description Summary

Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across capital markets, structured finance, treasury, and derivatives to enable efficient funding, optimize capital structure, and manage financial risks in support of enterprise financial objectives. Exercises a high degree of independent judgement and advising the CFO, Investor Relations and other senior leaders on funding strategy, market execution and risk positioning.

Job Description

Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across capital markets, structured finance, treasury, and derivatives to enable efficient funding, optimize capital structure, and manage financial risks in support of enterprise financial objectives.  Exercises a high degree of independent judgement and advising the CFO, Investor Relations and other senior leaders on funding strategy, market execution and risk positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Originate, structure, and execute debt and equity capital markets transactions in alignment with regulatory, rating agency, tax, legal, and accounting requirements.
  • Develop and execute enterprise funding strategies to support liquidity, capital, and balance sheet objectives.
  • Manage strategic interest rate, currency, and derivative activities to position the balance sheet and hedge financial risks.
  • Maintain access to global capital markets by managing relationships with investors, banks, lenders, and other market participants
  • Oversee funding programs, credit facilities, and related documentation to ensure ongoing market readiness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on capital markets conditions, regulatory developments, and market trends to inform funding and hedging decisions.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution with legal, tax, finance, investor relations, and business units to deliver transactions within approved parameters.
  • Lead and coach team members and virtual teams to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Support funding and structured finance initiatives for domestic and international business units.
  • May lead or participate in enterprise initiatives related to new business activities, valuation matters, regulatory change, or treasury policy development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance
  • Twelve years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, capital markets, or derivatives within financial services
  • In‑depth knowledge of debt and equity capital markets instruments and derivatives
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, tax, legal, and accounting frameworks related to funding and hedging transactions
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex transactions under tight timelines
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and operate effectively in international environments
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience with structured finance and hybrid capital instruments
  • Experience supporting funding strategies across multiple jurisdictions

Working Environment

This is either a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our main locations (Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY, Denver, CO, Cedar Rapids, IA or Baltimore, MD) or Work From Home/Remote based in the United States with occasional travel for business unit engagement and leadership meetings.

Compensation

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $290,000 - $320,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
