What You'll Do

  • Support software development best practices across multiple projects
  • Design and implement services and components for gathering events and analytics from mobile applications
  • Support Mobile Development using Hybrid Technologies; Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile as well as Native Technologies Kotlin
  • Identify and solve design and technology issues within the current systems
  • Improve and support product test, build, and deployment processes and pipelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to design, develop, and integrate with APIs that empower users to share and utilize their medical data in partner systems
  • Design and implement unit testable code that is highly maintainable
  • Collaborate with both internal and external team members to shape and define API contracts
  • Ensure performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
  • Develop good working relations with other solution teams and groups, such as Engineering, Marketing, Product, Test, QA
  • Stay current with emerging trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate

Required Qualifications  

  • 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin: Strong command of both programming languages is essential for Android development.
  • Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio: Mastery of these tools is crucial for efficient development and debugging.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs: Experience in integrating and working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
  • UI/UX Design Principles: Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing applications for performance, including memory management and battery usage.
  • Testing and Debugging: Strong skills in writing unit tests, using testing frameworks, and debugging applications.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiar with OOP design and SOLID principles
  • Familiar with Analytics and Crash Reporting products

Preferred Qualifications  

  • 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with the Bluetooth, Wifi, and NFC communication layers in Android and iOS
  • Experience with Gradle Kotlin and Groovy
  • Experience in multiplatform technologies including React Native and Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Experience with C++

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
