As a part of  Global Support you will provide support to customers, customer support personnel, and field support staff that is focused on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging Tessell service. You respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in  software products, and you ensure delivery of optimal results. You must be a “take charge” professional with demonstrated technical problem-solving skills; and a subject matter expert; and have a strong customer service orientation and experience.

 

Responsibilities:

Respond to situations where Tessell service L1/L2 support has been unable to solve customer’s technical issues.
Learn complete Tessell stack and be able to debug issue coming out of any area.
Must become Subject Matter Expert on Tessell service stack and offerings.
Proficient with configuration management.
Understanding of infrastructure as code paradigm, specially provisioning AWS/Azure infrastructure utilizing Terraform and/or Cloud Formation
Continuously reduce operational workload for developers by means of infrastructure improvements and automation.
Collaborate with Tessell development teams when the problem is too complex in order to most quickly facilitate solutions for customers.
Work collaboratively with customers in potentially stressful situations, while providing professional and courteous technical expertise.
Contribute with knowledge based articles to share information and best practices for reuse throughout the Technical Support CenterRequirements
2+ Experience in any high level language,Python preferred
6+ Experience in production support on UNIX environment
2+ experience with configuration management and IaaC, Ansible and Terraform preferred.
3+ Experience in managing production databases (Postgres/MySQL/Oracle )in Cloud environments or On Premise for medium to large size Enterprises
4+ Experience in working with AWS/Azure Cloud environments.
Good understanding of Kubernetes and ELK Services
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree/ Master's degree in Computer Science or related field required with 6+ years experience.
