In the role of Revenue Accountant at Micron Technology, Inc., your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day operations of the company's distribution business. This involves engaging in project management tasks such as system integration, data reporting, and conducting financial analyses to assess the distribution business's performance. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring distribution controls and analytics are in placed, and other responsibilities listed below among other duties. Furthermore, candidates for this position are expected to embody Micron's core values, which are collaboration, customer focus, tenacity, innovation, and people.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process weekly reports – reported inventory, point-of-sale, claim in channel management tool (Model N) 
• Resolve discrepancies with distributors on reported inventory, point-of-sale, claims or other pricing arrangements  
• Provide data analytics and project management support  
• Ensure compliance to policies and SOX control
• Support month-end close activities
• Drive process improvement and automation to streamline process
• Ad hoc task as assign including those not related to distribution business

Key Skill/Competencies

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Model N experience highly desirable
• SAP experience highly desirable
• Organized and detail oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy  
• Experience in data analysis & result oriented
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Self-starter and able to work independently  
• Good understanding of general accounting knowledge

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• 2 to 3+ years accounting or finance experience
• Shared service experience preferred
• Preferred to have experience Channel Finance / Disty / Revenue Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Account Receivable (AR) ]
