What you'll do

Day-to-day, you'll make sure that home and host regulatory outputs are produced on an accurate and timely basis, including calculating and posting all planned and ad hoc adjustments to the agreed timelines.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing interfaces and processes within regulatory reporting and RWA reporting
  • Preparing management reporting
  • Producing and reviewing MI packs, including business commentary for stakeholder RWA sign-offs
  • Contributing to the production of RWAs in accordance with the Basel rules and the bank’s framework of RWAs
  • Driving engagement surveys in your business area and taking ownership for the design and delivery of necessary action plans to enhance engagement levels

The skills you'll need

You’ll be CA or MBA qualified with significant experience in financial services or a finance role. Along with this, you’ll have a broad understanding of market dynamics and products and the associated risks in a market or credit domain.

Additionally, you’ll have a background of working with a financial institution or consulting firm in regulatory reporting, knowledge of how to use Basel II, Basel III and COREP and prior regulatory submissions experience.

Furthermore, you'll need:

  • At Least 8 years of experience
  • Functional experience in credit risk and regulatory reporting
  • A good understanding of credit risk RWA's and banking book products, including concepts such as EAD, PD, LGDD and slotting
  • Knowledge of SAS and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great Microsoft Excel skills
