Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $20.38 an hour

The Trash Dock associate will perform a variety of tasks including completing required paperwork, operating the controls on the compactors, making adjustments; and operate the trash compactors and balers.

Starting pay up to $20.38 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift)

You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a general labor, you will report to the operations team.

You Will:

  • Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
  • Operate P.I.T.'s
  • Work individually and with others as a team
  • Push or pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively
  • Obtain all required paperwork for shift
  • Check compactors for anything out of the ordinary
  • Dump and compact trash into the trash compactors
  • Add cardboard into the cardboard baler and bale the cardboard for recycling
  • Add plastic into the vertical baler and bale the plastic for recycling
  • Pump liquids (fats, oils & grease) into the designated tank
  • Monitor the compacting process
  • Load the cardboard, barrels, pallets, and plastic onto the designated trailer
  • Cleaning compactors, totes, work area
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are met
  • Complete all required paperwork and document important data
  • May perform general labor tasks as assigned

You have:

  • Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens
  • Be PIT Certified
  • Be LOTO Certified
  • Knowledge of the 5S concept
  • Work with animal and allergen products

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience
