Position Overview

The FP&A Manager, Cashflow and Capex is a senior-level role responsible for providing advanced financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the company. This role involves analyzing complex financial data, developing financial models, and presenting insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budgeting process.

  • Prepare and update financial forecasts, incorporating key business drivers and assumptions.

  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance summaries.

  • Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate financial data and insights.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and insights.

  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various business decisions.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to gather relevant data and insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of financial information and recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial analysis processes and methodologies.

  • Implement best practices and tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact financial analysis.

What you’ll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. (Master's degree or CFA designation preferred).

  • Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related role.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
