We are looking for a Senior-level Performance Engineer with a passion to improve the performance and quality of business software. Keen to Establish a continuous testing process for ensuring the performance requirements are met. 

Analyze quickly the performance behavior of an application on each tier. Identify performance bottlenecks in the application design and resolve software inefficiencies by subjecting the applications under different business load scenarios and using large volumes of data. Be able to explain why and how a performance problem could occur. 

We expect 3 to 4 years of experience in performance testing activities. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and execute performance testing activities 
• Prepare and execute performance test scripts, focusing on different types of performance testing (Stress, Volume, Load, etc.) to meet business requirements.
• Develop and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies. 
• Conduct performance testing and validation to identify and resolve performance issues. 
• Analyze application and system performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are met. 
• Build and maintain a Performance Testing Suite for products. 

Must To Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy and executing performance test scripts and various types of performance testing to align with business requirements. 
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve performance issues. ○ Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture. ○ Experience in capacity planning and application performance management. 
• Hands-on experience using Load testing tools such as Apache JMeter, SiteSpeed, LightHouse and APM tools such as NewRelic, Datadog. ○ Monitor application health in terms of SLAs, KPIs resource utilization using Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools. 
• Conduct code profiling and memory profiling when required. (e.g. Use of Java JDK tools, Heap analysers, GC monitoring ) 
• Experience in front-end Web Page loading & rendering performance analysis 
• Experience in Cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure or similar ) and Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) SQL tuning and DB monitoring. 
• Working knowledge of RDBMS ( PostgreSQL, MySQL or any) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) ○ Coding Experience in at least one of Java, Python, Ruby. 

Good To Have Skills: 

• Experience in building test frameworks and integrating within a CI stack using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions 
• Previous Development / Automation testing experience
