Responsibilities
- Operate the stacker at the end of the corrugator line to efficiently stack and organize finished corrugated sheets according to production specifications.
- Monitor sheet quality and identify defects such as warp, damage, printing issues, or incorrect dimensions, reporting concerns to the appropriate operator or supervisor.
- Ensure accurate stacking patterns, bundle counts, and load configurations to support downstream production processes.
- Remove damaged, nonconforming, or scrap material from production and maintain proper waste segregation procedures.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments as directed by the Corrugator Operator or Supervisor.
- Maintain a continuous flow of material to prevent production interruptions and minimize downtime.
- Verify production orders and ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform routine cleaning of the stacker, work area, and related equipment to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Complete production documentation and communicate operational issues, quality concerns, or equipment problems to management.
- Assist other corrugator crew members as needed to support productivity and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or corrugated industry experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret production orders, work instructions, and quality specifications.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and verify production quantities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with heavier assistance as needed.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required by production schedules.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrates reliability through consistent attendance, dependability, and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn equipment operation, and work effectively under minimal supervision.
