Summary: Seeking a skilled and proactive Production Support Engineer/Lead with strong hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining OpenText Core Capture (v24.x and 25.x) and OpenText xECM Content Server (v23.x) in a SaaS-deployed environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of ECM services with multiple integrated environments (e.g. SAP), while managing incidents, configuration, and change requests in a mission-critical enterprise environment Provide L2/L3 production support for OpenText Core Capture primarily (and xECM Content Server as additionally) • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and integration issues across capture processes. • Maintain and configure metadata models, workspaces, categories, roles, and permissions. • Manage and support OpenText SaaS-deployed platforms, ensuring compliance with cloud operations best practices. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and resolve integration issues using REST and SOAP APIs. • Support and administer OpenText Directory Services (OTDS), including user and role provisioning. • Implement and support custom configurations and system enhancements. • Document root cause analysis, system changes, and operational procedures. • Work closely with OpenText support for issue escalation and resolution as needed. • Participate in change management processes and off-hours support as part of an on-call rotation. • Must have skill: 4+ years of hands-on experience in supporting OpenText Core Capture (including v24.x and 25.x). • Good to have skill: Hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM Content Server (v23.x). • Experience with OpenText SaaS platforms, including understanding of cloud deployment and support models. • Proficiency in OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) – configuration and maintenance. • Strong experience in integrating xECM with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs. • Ability to configure and manage metadata models, categories, permissions, and business workspaces. • Programming/Scripting : XML/XSLT for templating. JavaScript or OScript (Content Server's scripting language) for advanced customizations. • Java/.NET for middleware integrations or API work. Familiarity with document-centric business processes and records management concepts. • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze logs and system behavior. Experience with ITIL-based production support processes is a plus. Professional & Technical Skills: Experience with SAP-integrated xECM environments. • Familiarity with automation tools, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript), and monitoring solutions. • OpenText certifications in xECM or Core Capture. • Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments. Additional Information: • Strong experience in integrating xECM with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs. • Experience with SAP-integrated xECM environments. • Familiarity with automation tools, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript), and monitoring solutions. • OpenText certifications in xECM or Core Capture. • Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
