In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating Micron's Global Procurement (GP) strategic objectives into program roadmaps that deliver distinct and measurable benefits for the organization. You will be supporting the Sr Manager of Supply Risk and Intelligence and is responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or multi-functional teams of domain experts, delivering products through the design process to completion. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the project from inception through delivery. May engage and oversee the work of external vendors. These positions' main focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and help guide our overall strategy and technical approach to supply chain risk management.
  • Work with professionals globally to define and influence technical requirements, and support in building internal models and mechanisms to assess and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Working with multiple internal and external partners and teams to collect business critical data.
  • This position will enable you to apply deep analytics and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complicated data sets.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to build analytical models related to risk modeling and inventory tracking, variance analysis, and optimization to increase accuracy and reduce risk.
  • Develop positive relationships with collaborators to enable a competitive advantage, achieving program and project objectives and successful implementation.
  • Actively engage with other multi-functional teams on project opportunities to enable competitive advantage and achieve successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or MBA degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Computer Science.
  • Good communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various parties involved
  • Ability to work in a global and team with varied strengths environment
  • Proficient in O365, Sharepoint, MS Project, Visio, and if you’re experienced with Tableau, Power BI, Agile/backlog management (e.g. Azure, Jira, Confluence), or equivalent is bonus.
