Summary:
As an AI Core Software Developer, you will build and operationalize core AI capabilities that power enterprise applications, with a strong focus on Generative AI, LLM integrations, and intelligent automation platforms. You will design reusable AI services, orchestration layers, and evaluation frameworks that can be consumed across multiple business solutions, including Salesforce.
This role blends strong software engineering fundamentals with applied AI engineering, enabling scalable, secure, and production-grade AI systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and implement core AI services and frameworks supporting multiple business use cases.
Build and integrate Generative AI solutions for chat, summarization, reasoning, and recommendations.
Develop orchestration layers for prompts, tools, agents, and workflows.
Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using structured and unstructured data sources.
Create reusable components for prompt templates, guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring.
Integrate AI services with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.
Develop Salesforce extensions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and responsible AI guidelines.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
Continuously experiment with emerging AI models, tools, and frameworks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must Have Skills
Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM fundamentals (tokens, embeddings, context windows, hallucination mitigation).
Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and prompt tuning.
Experience building RAG architectures and semantic search solutions.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Experience with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows).
Understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and integrations.
Knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and automated testing.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
2. Good to Have Skills
Experience with vector databases or embedding stores.
Exposure to Agentforce or Salesforce Einstein features.
Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI.
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines.
Certifications Required
Salesforce Platform Developer I – Mandatory
Salesforce AI Associate – Preferred
Any AI or Cloud Certification – Preferred
Additional Information:
3–5 years of software development experience.
At least 1–2 years working with AI / GenAI implementations.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
15 years of full-time education is required.
