Salary Range:

$91,000.00 - $119,000.00

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Coordinator to support operational excellence within the Product and Engineering Organizations. 

This role will support critical business and organizational operations, enabling Product, Design, Research, and Engineering to operate efficiently to achieve both long-term and short-term goals. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical, extremely organized, and excellent with spreadsheets. 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations, Product and Engineering. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Support core operations of 3-5 cross-functional Product & Engineering Groups for functional Groups (Design and Research)

  • Facilitate information sharing from Department and Group Leads to their teams to ensure transparency and clarity on each Group’s strategy and broader business context

  • Increase efficiency and remove friction to ensure Groups are running smoothly and in a coordinated manner  

  • Working in partnership with Product & Engineering Leads to manage OKR process

  • Run, organize, and maintain Group-level All Hands 

  • Schedule, attend, and note-take at leadership meetings as a thought-partner. This includes taking notes, scheduling follow ups, and being the “eyes and ears” for the Product & Engineering Leads

  • Scheduling, running, and planning gatherings for their 3-5 Product & Engineering Groups 

  • Maintain and manage system trackers and reports where key information is updated on an at least weekly basis

  • Maintain communication channels including distribution lists and Slack channels 

  • Create, maintain, and implement operating rhythms for each Group that ladders into the Product & Engineering Organization’s operating rhythms 

  • Provide calendaring support for CPO and CTO Direct Reports 

  • Support the ideation of organizational design and be the linkage between Strategy & Operations, HR Business Partners, and Product & Engineering LEads

  • Coordinate with other Strategy & Operations Coordinators to ensure alignment across Groups 

  • Assist in the creation and planning of programs, internal communications, templates, reports, strategies, and presentations 

  • Maintain the Product & Engineering Hub where the orgs’ information is shared

  • Ad hoc reporting, as needed

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience problem solving in a fast paced environment

  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • High attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to define and contain complex problems, prioritize and deliver quickly

  • Ability to maintain order, focus and calm in times of ambiguity and changing priorities

  • Have a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves and get the work done approach
