A caregiver in this position provides complete diagnostic and treatment services in acupuncture, delivering care in both one-on-one and group settings. Middleburg Heights Family Health Center (FHC) offers comprehensive primary and specialty care in a state-of-the-art facility with 168 exam rooms and 12 treatment rooms. Our experienced physicians and medical staff provide quality patient care across Middleburg Heights and Main Campus. In this role, you will join a collaborative, supportive team and gain exposure to diverse patient populations, while benefiting from professional development and career growth opportunities within Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this position works onsite Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, no weekends or holiday requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Deliver integrative health care to individual patients and groups, using acupuncture and related techniques.
Work closely with participants to adjust course of instruction to best benefit each individual and refers clients to physician/medical professionals for medical issues that may arise during sessions.
Engage in educational activities.
Contribute to research programs.
Support quality monitoring programs.
Serve as a clinical preceptor for other health care professionals obtaining practice in the specialty area.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Masters or Masters Level Degree in Acupuncture from an accredited three-year full time clinical acupuncture program or from a candidate-for-accreditation clinical acupuncture program
Minimum one year of experience performing acupuncture
Board certified through the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and certification through the State Medical Board of Ohio
Excellent communication, interpersonal, accountability and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend and stretch for extended periods of time.
Manual dexterity to use instruments and perform examinations related to the practice.
Must be flexible and able to travel to various practice sites
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
