What you will do

The Lead Technician - Security is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi.  The Aftermarket CFS team carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Controls and Security Management Systems (SMS) used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality.

As a Lead Technician you will support commissioning, replacing the controllers and you will be responsible for the onsite system verification, PPM activities, testing & commissioning of additional doors/cameras, service reports of Security Management Systems (SMS) and manage overall team of technicians and subcontractors on roster based 24/7 duty shift plan.

As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.

How you will do it

As a Lead Technician, you have knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/Networking knowledge. You are hands-on, programming controllers, installing & commissioning various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Speed gates, Car Park barriers and set up, test third party software integration. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by always maintaining a high standard of safety.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in programming, installation, commissioning, and servicing of various CCTV platforms (Pelco Endura & VideoXpert, Milestone, ExacqVision, and Victor VMS) and Access Control systems (P2K, C•CURE, Salto) as well as Visitor Management Systems.
  • Strong technical expertise with Intercom, Master Clock, and Public Address (PA) systems.
  • Proven experience working with structured cabling systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with high‑level integrations involving lifts, barriers, and ANPR systems.
  • Ability to organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks, including coordination with third‑party service providers and vendors.
  • Capable of resolving complex system issues through troubleshooting or by guiding others on appropriate solutions.
  • Commitment to adhering to company safety policies and procedures, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and professionally.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in preparing incident reports and root cause analysis documentation.
  • Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD.
  • Practical knowledge of ADMCC regulations and related drawings.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
