What You’ll Get to Do:
The Logistics Support Specialist will manage the entire life cycle of products, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. This role involves handling government-owned property and overseeing the inventory, storage, and shipping processes to ensure smooth logistical operations. The specialist will prepare and package materials, maintain records, and ensure that inventory levels are accurate and properly documented. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing complex logistical assignments, including the use of inventory management software and the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

More About the Role:

  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, and ship various types of equipment while maintaining inventory control of government-owned property.
  • Handle parts preparation, material handling, measuring, and packaging equipment for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions and shipments.
  • Utilize inventory management software such as WASP, COLTS, etc., to manage and track inventory.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Create and submit purchase requests based on input from technicians and engineers.
  • Perform tasks such as verifying materials against receiving documents, stacking or palletizing materials, and preparing them for shipment.
  • Work with various teams to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience in receiving, storing, and shipping equipment.
  • Knowledge or prior experience working with Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (WASP, COLTS, etc.).
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail in tracking inventory and shipments.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing multiple complex work assignments.
  • Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$51,800 - 106,200 USD
