This position involves high visibility with internal and external clients through report creation and delivery.  The candidate will serve as a report expert utilizing IBM Cognos  Power BI, and other applications to support internal servicing and corporate teams with both routine and complex reporting needs.

  • Provide analytical and reporting support and solutions to the Loan Servicing department.
  • Design, implement, and maintain relational database systems ensuring efficient data-joins to support multi-source data integration.
  • Utilize tools like BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, and Python to meet operational needs.
  • Develop and automate advanced analytics, Power BI dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Create and manage complex Cognos dashboards and data models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve report, database and scheduling issues.
  • Develop and optimize advanced SQL Server queries.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing and multi-source data consolidation.
  • Manage scheduled reports for external and internal recipients.
  • Ensure company branding (Berkadia and Private Label) on reports and letters.
  • Create and distribute recurring monthly Senior Management and Rating Agency reports.
  • Perform other duties and project as assigned.

We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have: 

  • Professional report development skills, including creating various report types.
  • Experience in report schedule management and data modeling a plus.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Loan Servicing/Financial data and systems a plus, especially McCracken’s Strategy Commercial Loan Servicing system.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, advanced SQL queries and joins (inner/outer, cross/Cartesian), Python, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Cognos Analytics, dashboard development, and reporting framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and integrating machine learning models is beneficial, along with building data solutions using React, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong user testing and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with business users and the IT department.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Three to five years prior experience in a similar position.
