MIDTOWN CHICAGO is looking for a Seasonal Pool Deck Hosts for the outdoor pool.  They will be responsible for elevating the guest experience and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for members. Seasonal employment is from Mid-May to Labor Day. 

THE POSITIONS: POOL DECK HOST; LEAD POOL DECK HOST

• POOL DECK HOST
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Hand out towels and assist in towel pickup
  • Monitor deck chairs in assigned area
  • Monitor the pool area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests
  • Act as a customer service representative for the club and promote club events, answering member questions and responding to any concerns
  • Work with servers and house-keeping to ensure the pool area is clean, clutter-free, and well-maintained at all times
  • Assist Lifeguards when emergency action plan is activated (Call 911 if necessary)
  • Manage Pool Deck lost & found
  • Enforce Pool Deck Etiquette and Youth Area Code
  • Other duties as assigned by Aquatics Management Team
  • $ 16.50 - $ 18.50/Hour + Midtown Employee Membership

•    LEAD POOL DECK HOST
  • Responsible for managing DH rotations and breaks
  • Liaison between members and club management
  • Point person for all communication to Deck Host Team

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Candidates with availability for the complete duration of the season (May 17-Sept 1) preferred
