About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will build strong, long‑term partnerships with customers and support sustainable revenue growth across your portfolio. You will manage renewals, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver solutions that create measurable value. Success in this role comes from understanding customer needs, using insights to guide decisions, and communicating clearly and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their goals, priorities, and challenges
  • Manage renewals and identify opportunities for growth across the Elsevier portfolio
  • Use data and insights to plan, forecast, and make informed decisions
  • Work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, product, and customer success
  • Communicate solutions clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders
  • Adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions in a complex environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or a related customer‑focused role
  • Ability to understand customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions
  • A results‑focused mindset, with accountability for outcomes
  • Confidence using data and insights to support decisions
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and across teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office, or willingness to learn
  • A degree is welcome but not required. Relevant professional experience is equally valued.
