What you'll do:

Western Alliance Bank is seeking passionate, results-driven Back End Full Stack .Net developer Lead to deliver innovative, industry leading solutions. We want a creative, highly-motivated developer lead who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Lead Back End delivery (Full stack code coverage) for the Trust systems
  • Provide leadership in working with the enterprise data, infrasctructure and security  teams in support of the Trust ecosystem
  • Works both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver innovative software solutions to customers and business partners
  • Collaborates closely with peer developers, QA testers, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner
  • Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into tangible work tasks
  • Architect, design, create and maintain the full stack back end solutions including coverage of core application, back end batch processing, stored procedures and database interactions.
  • Lead and collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility of the application and database designs
  • Participate in the creation of new products and prototypes from scratch
  • Present and explain design concepts and decisions to the team and stakeholders.
  • Develop website, application, database and reporting architectures
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing product suite
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance
  • Respond to urgent bugs in a timely manner alongside engineers
  • Help foster good software engineering practices.
  • Follow relevant company procedures and help create and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.

Job Requirements

  • 9+ years experience in analyzing, designing and developing using Microsoft Technologies and .Net framework
  • 9+ years Full-Stack development using .Net, Control-M, SSIS and other database development tools
  • Good to have experience working in other UI technologies like Angular, React, Node JS, Vue JS
  • Extensive experience with ASP.NET Web APIs to build Restful APIs
  • 9+ years of Full-Stack development building applications using .Net MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • 6+ years of experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS resources in Azure or AWS cloud technologies including cloud enables network, infrastructure  and security
  • 6+ years of solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications.
  • 6+ years of experience using Git, TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management
  • 6+ years of experience in Database using SQL Server
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and deliver results in an aggressive production environment
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels
  • Cloud Architect certification is a plus
