Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to complete various types of plant work as assigned by the
IC Production Foreman. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner
consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: ƒ Complete various types of plant work, such as monitoring conveyor lines; retrieving raw materials from the warehouse; working on packaging, novelty, and 5-quart filling lines; and operating can forming equipment, filling equipment, line coders, and over-wrap equipment. ƒ Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards, procedures, and guidelines while completing various general plant duties. ƒ Ensure duties are completed according to state, federal, and Corporate guidelines and in a safe manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one (1) year experience in the dairy manufacturing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and smallgroup situations to customers, clients, and other associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
