Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

What will you do?

• Technical application of fundamental engineering skills in the design of process equipment

• Scoping equipment specifications and working with vendors to obtain best in class design for value

• Going to site, observing plant operations and implement engineering modifications to plant

• Commissioning of equipment with engineers and plant technicians

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and safety

What will you learn?

• Understanding of equipment capability. The student will learn to differentiate various equipment/instrument, understand their specifications and how they are used for processes via the assigned projects

• Understanding of Management of Change process via the Plant Modification Proposal. The student will be involved in designing, executing and commissioning of modifications in a GMP environment

• Process scale up understanding. Participation in batch record review & plant processing to gain hands on understanding of safety/quality aspect of introducing a process into a plant

What are we looking for?

• Strong written and oral communications skills 

• Excellent English proficiency 

• A keen interest in production

• Interest with going to manufacturing site, observing plant operations and implement engineering modifications to plant

• Meticulous, organized, and dedicated 

• Apply his/her knowledge of engineering, data/computer sciences and analytics and learn soft skills in engaging different stake holders to deliver a project
